An awful sick sextortion mind

woman wearing teal bikini standing near shore

An obviously completely sick mind is trying to extort from various call centers. One of our readers was horribly maltreated, thousands of mails came. Funnily enough, from the Philippines and Africa.

It’s time to control the bitcoin scene. He had hung up on the bitcoin exchange.

Our reader handed the whole affair over to the police.

This is a common scam email that tries to trick you into thinking that your computer or phone is infected with malware and then threatens to make your personal data public. Contrary to the claims in the email, you haven’t been hacked (or at least, that’s not what prompted this email) and this is nothing more than a scam that tries to trick you into sending Bitcoins to these scammers. This is merely a new variation on an old scam which is popularly called “sextortion”.

A RAT or remote administration tool, is software that gives a person full control of a tech device, remotely. The RAT gives the user access to your system, just as if they had physical access to your device.

With this access, the person can access your files, use your camera, and even turn on/off your device. However, it is important to note that there is no evidence in this email that suggests that your device has actually been infected with a RAT.

It is recommended that you do not respond to the email or send any money.

Instead, you should delete the email and make sure that your device is protected with up-to-date anti-virus software. If you are concerned about the security of your accounts, you can also change your passwords and enable two-factor authentication where possible.

It’s always a good idea to be cautious when receiving unsolicited emails and to be aware of common scams.

Never pay, never feel blackmailed. The blackmailers are sick elements. Just put the mails in the digital trash.

We as Scammer News ask if other readers have also had problems with this, write to us.

All you need is $1600 USD in Bitcoin (BTC) transfer to my account (Bitcoin equivalent based on exchange rate during your transfer).

After the transaction is successful, I will proceed to delete everything without delay.

Afterwards, we can pretend that we have never met before.

In addition, I assure you that all the harmful software will be deleted from your device.
